Hello,
Welcome in! Take a seat, help yourself to the refreshments.
I'll share a bit about myself.
I'll share a bit about myself.
I'm currently working as a Vegetation Management Inspector, patrolling the trees along power lines all over Mendocino County, California to ensure fire safety. I've started to collect oak leaves so I can create diagrams contrasting the range of species found here.
Before this, I pruned olive trees and farmed organic vegetables in Lake Garda, Italy.
From the family housing me, I learned how to stage a beautiful farm stand and to understand many, many Italian curse words.

For the two years prior I taught middle school English and assisted farmers in Sahamadio, Madagascar, housed by the town that requested me, sent by the U.S. Peace Corps. The adventure of decoding Malagasy grammar was one of the greatest joys I have experienced.
Further back yet, I worked a full season on a 5 acre organic vegetable farm in Hood River, Oregon. I learned to love our Italian BCS rototiller and to hate bindweed.
In the previous season I worked on a forestry crew doing fire abatement for 120 acres of wilderness, home to the spring which hydrated the 5 acre permaculture farm I lived on. I gained 25 pounds of muscle and cleaned a lot of bat poop out of AirBnB yurts.
Before that, in 2021, I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a bachelor's degree in Environments design. There, I learned how facilitate the collaborative ideation of designed spaces, curriculums, and processes, in order to offer intentional experiences. I traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark, where IKEA designers instructed me in the study of furniture design. I ate a vegan diet for two years and saw a therapist regularly.
Now,
In this pursuit of meaningful work, would you like to work together?
